Intervista con Noah Boeken su POKERiamo.info!!

Noah Boeken! Quí in Italia sono pochi a conoscerlo ma in Olanda é uno dei giocatori di poker piú in rilievo in questo momento. Ebbene, cosí come per l’intervista di Chad “lilholdem954″ Batista sono riuscito ad ottenere una intervista anche con Noah Boeken, esclusivamente per POKERiamo.info !

Ma conosciamolo meglio questo Noah Boeken. Noah Boeken non si é avvicinato al poker direttamente di per sé ma pare che, giocando ad un altro gioco di carte sia stato avvicinato pian piano al magico mondo del poker. Ma a cosa giocava prima? Giocava sempre ad un gioco chiamato “Magic: The Gathering” che é praticamente un gioco di carte da tavolo (o online) piú in voga nel nord europa, con stile tipo Dungeons & Dragons (chi conosce capisce quello di cui parlo) di cui potete avere maggiori informazioni, se incuriositi, seguendo questo link. Pur non essendoci un grandissimo nesso (anzi, non ne vedo proprio) tra questo “Magic” e il poker, Noah si avvicina al poker in maniera decisiva intorno al 2002 e soprattutto si avvicina al poker online. Nei Master Classics riesce a farsi notare in maniera decisiva con un bel quarto posto vincendo qualcosa come 139.000 euro !

Attualmente Noah Boeken é stato ingaggiato dalla Poker Stars e lo vedremo presto anche nell’EPT di Sanremo !

Eccovi allora l’intervista con Noah Boeken a cui ho fatto piú o meno le stesse domande fatte a Chad Lilo. Le risposte sono in inglese per cui non hanno bisogno di traduzione a parte la prima risposta che é in Olandese (si dev’essere sbagliato..) e chi vi traduco volentieri!

Ris. : Mijn naam is Noah Boeken, ben 27 jaar oud, woon in amsterdam en speel poker for a living, ik word gesponsort door pokerstars en speel in al hun EPT’s over heel Europa.

Dom. : When and why did you start playing?
Ris. : I staretd at school with friends about 10 years ago, I used to play a strategic cardgame called Magic the gathering and poker pretty much was the next step to go after playin Magic professional for a few years.

Dom. : How did poker change your life?
Ris. :It changed my life in a way that i canbe totally independent.

Dom. : What to do (and not) to become a professionist.
Ris. :If u wanna make it a profesion then make sure u know what u are gettin into because for every succes story there are way more stories of people that failed and didnt make it in the pokerworld, i might look real cool and easy when u see a guy walk away with 1 million at the pokertable but it aint that easy.

Dom. : Online poker Vs live poker. Your point of view.
Ris. :Online poker is a great way to become familier with the game and to learn faster then live poker because u get so many more hands and get so many more screens, its the perfect way to understand the game by seeing 1000s of hands a day, somethin that would take weeks if u had to play in the casino.

Dom. : How do you see the future of online poker?
Ris. :I think the future for online poker looks pretty good, lots of countrys are opening up and making it legal, its a great way for a lotta people to spent some downtime and play a few hands of poker for fun.

Dom. : How’s your vision about italian poker players?
Ris. :Italian pokerplayers are pretty loose i think unless ur name is Luca Pagano
